I think maybe what the problem is, is that I see people I follow who are identified artists make friends with other artists, sometimes really popular ones and people I admire. I feel outside the friend-artist circle but at the same time if I want to make friends with these people I am usually sort of ignored/assumed another fan or just sort of shafted regardless because I’m probably a dick...
I seem to be really good at making friends with people online. Except for people who really identify their blogs with their art or art tags. That is to say, I am very bad at making friends with artists I think?
Maybe I’m like a temperamental douchebag.
